Marie Cisco
is a Director, Stage Manager, Teaching Artist, and Theatre Enthusiast.
She was born in Atlanta, GA and is a 2010 graduate of the Theatre School at DePaul University, where she received her BFA in Theatre Arts.
Marie is a proud company member of MPAACT Theatre where she also serves as the Marketing Director and Resident Stage Manager. Her Stage Managing Credits Include: Tad in 5th City, Ghosts of Atwood, Last Saint on Sugar Hill, Speaking in Tongues: The Chronicles of Babel, and Sweet Home.
Marie is thrilled to continue her directing career as a Co-Director for Blackademics! Her previous directing credits include: Wilson/Brustein Debate (Oakton College) and Baseball Music: The Sweetest Sound (MPAACT).
She has been blessed with the opportunity to share art with the kids as a Teaching Artist for MPAACT, Step-Up Women’s Network, and an Assistant Teaching Artist for Steppenwolf.
