Our Life Our Times:The Alibi Transcripts
Characters are always drawn slightly larger or slightly smaller than life. The effect is that we have an opportunity to see the often distorted reflections of ourselves and our society in each word spoken. This presentation/discussion offers a unique glimpse into the complex dynamics inherent in our society. It is an examination of race, gender, ethnicity, class, culture, politics, and faith. As such it a springboard for an examination of ourselves and our society.

Award winning writers including Nambi E. Kelley, Shepsu Aakhu, and Lydia Diamond, encapsulate the diversity of perspectives, styles, and values which make our culture so vibrant. "Our Life Our Times" provides a forum to discuss the value of diversity in art, expression, and society.

Cultural Themes: A Production Overview
Ever want to know the nuts and bolts behind a production? The "how" and "why" which influence writers, directors, and actors? Cultural Themes: A Production Overview is an in-depth discussion of those very ideas. Participants are provided an opportunity to interact with professional artists in a nurturing and provocative environment which probes the reasoning behind the cultural explorations that MPAACT productions embody. If you require an in-depth & personal exchange that no mere post-show discussion can provide, the Cultural Themes discussion is the event designed with you in mind.

Art, Leadership, and Expressionism : Communication, Character, and Content
What do I want? How do I feel? What do I have to say? Why are we together? Questions at the center of leadership, art, and expression. The answers are often deeply personal, and revealed after a lifetime of searching. But this need not be the case. Expression both personal and communal, center around character development, communication (not information) skills, and the quality of your ideas.
