George Blaise
A founding member of MPAACT George is a multimedia producer, television personality, accomplished composer and musician. His work in television, commercial production and public service campaign writing has earned him 3 Chicago Emmys 2 national Tellys and a National Community Broadcasters Award. As a musical director for Red Clay and its numerous incarnations, he has scored MPAACT’s Sun Calls up The Sun (2008), Panther Burn, The Inside, Piece Meal Clan, Afrosynthesis, Otherworld Lovers, Girl to Named Later, MiLK, & Vital Signs, among others. Continuum: Vision’s from Yetunde marked George’s first excursion into collaborative playwriting.
