Kevin Douglas was born in Toronto, Canada. He graduated from The Theatre School at DePaul University with a BFA in Acting. He is a writer, actor, and teaching Artist with MPAACT. His MPAACT productions include: Kosi Dasa, KiWi Black, Relevant Hearsay . . . stories from 57, Bus Boyz, Blaxploitation: The Remix (Nominated for 7 Black Theatre Alliance Awards including Best Writing), and Blaxploitation 2: You know how we deux! (Nominated for 10 Black Theatre Alliance Awards including Best Writing) and No Experience Necessary. And most recently Fight Choreography for Ghosts of Atwood and for the Jeff Nominated First Words directed by Chuck Smith. Kevin has performed at many theatres around the city including: Northlight Theatre, Court Theatre, and Lookingglass Theatre Company where he is an Artistic Associate. His regional credits include: Actors Theatre of Louisville, Baltimore Center Stage, Kansas City Rep, and Alliance Theatre. Kevin is also one half of the sketch comedy duo kevINda (Kevin Douglas and Inda Craig-Galvan). They have performed at Donny’s Skybox, I.O., The Playground, Live Bait, The Theatre Building, The Athenaeum, and they have been invited to perform in festivals including the HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado, NBC Sketch Comedy Showdown in L.A., Steppenwolf’s Traffic Series at Steppenwolf Theatre, Chicago Sketchfest, Chicago Improv Festival, DC Comedy Festival, Seattle Sketch Comedy Festival, Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, The DC Comedy Fest, and the NY Sketchfest and The Just For Laughs Festival. Kevin also likes to dabble in stand-up comedy.
