Evelyn Danner

Wearer of many hats, is a resident Costume Designer, and Stage Manger MPAACT. Her costuming credits with MPAACT include: She Calls Up The Sun (2008), Beneath A Dark Sky (2008), Blaxploitation: The Remix and Trouble The Water. Other Costume Design credits include the Indy film The Gilded Six Bits (WSTG), Mama Said, The Other Cinderella, BoBo the Bully, and Nina Simone (Black Ensemble Theater). She is the recipient of the BTAA award for outstanding costume design for her work on Dionne Warwick: Don’t Make Me Over (Black Ensemble). Evelyn also appeared in MPAACT’s production of Trouble the Water. Her other theater interests include acting and singing. She can frequently be seen on Chicago stages pursuing both interests with vigor and considerable acumen.
