LaNisa Frederick
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, LaNisa made the move to Chicago to attend Loyola University Chicago too many years ago to count. It is there she met fellow MPAACT member Mignon McPherson Nance who graciously took her under her wings and directed her in Crumbs from the Table of Joy. From there, she began work with MPAACT, starting with Kiwi Black. LaNisa's other Chicago productions include Flyin’ West, Meaningless, 5 Rooms of Furniture and the regional premier of The Exonerated. She has trained at the prestigious East 15 Acting School London, receiving her MA in performance in 2006.
