Eric Walker

Eric Walker is a father, actor, and teaching artist. He came to Chicago in 2002 from New York City to pursue his career after 9/11. He received his training at The St. Louis Black Repertory through the acting internship program. Some of His “Black Rep” credits include: Othello, The River Niger, The Wiz, Romeo and Juliet and many touring shows nationwide. While in New York he worked at The National Black Theatre in Harlem, The Ujamma Black Theatre, Playwrights Theatre NY, Ensemble Studio Theatre, and various off broadway productions. While in Chicago he has been in Deep Azure (Congo Square) Romeo and Juliet (Arts Lane Theatre) Blaxploitation 2 (MPAACT) and A Raisin In The Sun (Footlik Theatre). He is also a teaching artist working for seven years in St.Louis, New York, New Jersey, and now, Chicago.
